Visions and Voices: Collaborative Exhibit at Fort Vancouver Regional Library

    May 10, 2020 ·

The Gray Space Gallery at Fort Vancouver Regional Library in Vancouver WA presents "Visions and Voices, a collaborative exhibition between visual artist and poets". The exhibit includes artists and poets from around the region including Christopher Luna and Ann Bauer.

A Better Future, 18 by 24 inches, acrylic, charcoal, paper, image transfers, cardboard and metal on canvas, 2020

Each artist was anonymously paired with a poet. The poets wrote poems in response to the artwork while the visual artists created new work in response to the poetry. This exhibit is a wonderful opportunity to collaborate across disciplines.

This painting, "A Better Future" was inspired by the poem I was given. On view November 1 – December 31, 2021.
