Marroquin selected for Artist In Residency Program

TreeSong Nature Awareness & Retreat Center in Washougal, WA selected Sam Marroquin to take part in their artist in residency program. The artist will spend half a week creating art and living, immersed in nature along the Washougal River.

"It is an honor to be selected as their very first Artist in Residence." Marroquin said. She will also talk about her art and lead an art station at TreeSong's Run Wild event on June 9, at Fallen Leaf Lake Park in Camas, WA.

The residency is made possible by TreeSong and the Washington State Arts Commission.
