    Photosynthesis Magazine: Capitalism

    Dec 27, 2023 ·

Photosynthesis Magazine: “My layered and collaged paintings explore capitalism and its perpetual growth, inequality, human displacement, intergenerational trauma, and continuous harm to nature. It is no surprise that people all around the world are suffering from extreme poverty, violence, the effects of climate change, and other injustices. Examining the news media, power, and consumerism, my work takes a thoughtful look at the unsustainable systems that surround us.” - Sam Marroquin

We couldn’t have said it better!
