From drawings of ancient statues to collages responding to the authenticity of the printed matter that surrounds us, truth in beauty goes beyond what meets the eye. Sketching from antiquity, I examine how time has taken its toll and tribute the artists that crafted and touched these sculptures. In a similar fashion, I reassemble elements from magazines, newspapers, and found material to capture our contemporary history.
